Not so good

I bought this for my husband after his research showed good reviews. Well, it didn\'t work well at all. Always static in the line, if he walked just a few feet away you couldn\'t hear him at all. He used it for about 2 weeks and I convinced him to send it back.

A mix of feelings

First of all, Im a Nokia fan. I bought the BH-800 because I think is elegant, small, discrete and mainly because of the brand. You don\'t have that bulky headsets on your ears.



That said, I must admit that I have mixed feelings with the BH-800, I have used it with two smartphones: The Nokia N80 and a Blackberry 8800.



When using the BH-800 together with N80 I found that the sound quality sometimes is not good enough and the devices get disconnected easily (sometimes it happens when I put the N80 on one of my pants pockets) I think this could be a design flaw on the N80. Besides that, the headset is designed to work with Nokia devices. The ringtones that you setup on your Nokia phone (even distinctive ringtones) are clearly heard on the headset. Other features like voice dialing and redial the last number work flawless using the headset button.



In the other hand, when using with the BlackBerry, I get better sound quality and better range but I lose the distinctive ringtones (the headset plays the famous Nokia tune) and is not possible to start the voice dialing from the headset. I have also noticed that when you answer an incoming call in your headset, you can not hear your counterpane until the Nokia tune finish playing (but him/her can hear you).



Overall I think the BH-800 is a good headset, better used with Nokia phones to get the best of it.

Disappointed

I am very disappointed. there is generally always static. I have trouble hearing people and they have trouble hearing me.

nice design but too much static

It has a nice design and look. the battery time is reasonable. People on the other end say the sound is good but I keep hearing static all the time.

Off to a rocky start, but I have hope

I got this as a present for someone. I have a Nokia BH900 myself which has worked great, so I wanted to stick with Nokia for another bluetooth headset. Unfortunately, I seem to have received a broken one, in that it can\'t even get as far away from the phone as putting it a pants pocket without losing signal and disconnecting. But Nokia has proven to be an awesome brand so far, so I have hope that we simply got a bad unit, and that the replacement will work great. To be continued...

Not a good fit

The product build quality is good and it works with my blackberry.

But its not a good fit for my ear, it comes out of the ear if I can manage to fit it in some home. The battery life is pathetic.

Good Bluetooth headset for the price

The Nokia BH-201 is a small, discrete, and fairly good bluetooth headset that works quite well. The reception is quite good, and it comes with a charger. The lanyard is also a useful feature. The only drawback is that you constantly have to adjust it in your ear. Very good price/performance value.

Excellent

The Nokia BH-201 Bluetooth Headset is just what I was looking for in blue tooth technology. I am alwas running out of the office to go to another appointment, only to find in my haste I had forgotten my headset.

With the Nokia strape around my neck all day it is ease to just pug it in my ear. In addition, I no longer forget I have it when I rush out of the office.

It is easy to charge and last the entire day.

difficult to misplace is the best feature

I bought this blue tooth earpiece after loosing a previous one less than 48 hours after buying it. So I was looking for something that could hang around my neck... that being said, it also has pretty good sound quality for the price and without the fancy noise cancellation (at least so I\'ve heard from people I talked with).

I am not a fan of the in ear hookup, but it is surprisingly comfortable and does not fall off easily.

Things that caused me to reduce the rating to only three stars: the charger is not a mini USB, or micro USB, making finding a charger for it rather difficult; the earpiece slides easily on the cord, making pulling it out by the cord difficult as it keeps slipping on the cord and won\'t pop out as easily from under a coat or sweater; it keeps on disconnecting and reconnecting - but i don\'t know if that is the phone\'s fault or the bluetooth...

Overall, a relatively good buy, despite the annoying Nokia internal ring-tone (I\'m not a Nokia fan).

Very nice headset with minor set backs

This bluetooth headset works very nicely.The design on it is pretty cool,and I like the strap that it connects to.It came with different earbuds so it is most likely to fit in any ear.Once you figure out where the little wheel fits perfectly,it\'s rare that it falls out.It\'s pretty comfy and not annoying.I must say that I do not like the fact that it has some magnetic thing in it can be dangerous if near any sort of card with a magnetic strip.

Best Headset of several used

I have had this headset for a couple of years. The audio quality is consistently excellent. I have worn it with 3 different pairs of glasses; for me, the fit is fine.



Compared to other headsets:

- Compared to three generations of the Nokia Earbud, this one stays in place, doesn\'t make noise against my clothing, and sounds better.

- Compared to the Jabra Boom headset -- well, I rated that headset 1 star.

Awesome headset

The earbud type headsets don\'t stay in my ear which is why I bought this one.

I\'ve been using it for a couple years now I think, and its an excellent headset.

Sound quality is very good, and I especially like the answer/disconnect button built in to the mic part.

Good headset

I\'ve used this headset for a while and found it great for my needs. You can use it in either ear and the sound is clear. The cord might be a little longer, but that can be worked around. The only (minor) problem is a need to be careful if you adjust the position while talking, so you don\'t press the button on the mic and cut off the call.

A must for drivers who insist on talking on the phone, too!

This ear piece is so much better than others I\'ve used. It rests firmly on my ear, and the microphone is in a perfect place so it doesn\'t get bumped around. It has a disconnect button, too, which allows me to keep my eyes on the road. Very easy to hear through, too.

I love it!

This is the best headset I\'ve owned yet, and it was a bargain! I highly recommend the product and the seller.

It works well

I don\'t always have the best luck with earpieces, but I\'ve had this one for several months, now, and I really like it. The sound has been clear, both for me and the person on the other end. It fits in my ear and doesn\'t shift around. It seems durable; I haven\'t dropped it in a puddle yet, but I do cram it into my purse regularly where it is gently abused and it still works fine.

Affordable

Great affordability. Obtained through Amazon in a matter of days and the earbud is working perfectly!

Nokia HDC-5 earbud

It works fine, even came with a nice foam cover for the earpiece. I hear through it fine, but the people on the other side of the conversation say that reception is fuzzy and static filled.

It works!

The bud is comfortable in my ear, it actually stays in place. I like that there is an answer button on the headset. Very easy to use, very comfortable. I am very happy with this product and would give it my full recommendation.

Great service!

After shopping locally for a headset for my 6030 Nokia cell phone, I found that no store in town carried these.

After doing a search on Amazon.com, I placed my order with Webtreo.

I received the earboom, instead of the earbud headset,which does not work as well with glasses.

I received a response to my e mail within 30 minutes, and had the correct earbud within 5 days, along with return postage to mail back the Nokia earboom.

Even after paying postage, the price for this Nokia product was less than I\'d been paying for an aftermarket product.

Definitely will do business with Webtreo again.
